The new deal will keep the 21-year-old at the Dutch side until the summer of 2015. The defender’s previous deal was due to expire in June 2013.
He told the club’s official website: “Time has gone so quickly since my debut two years ago.
“I have learned a lot and I am convinced that NEC can make big steps with this talented group of players.
“I am pleased that the club has the confidence in me to grant me another two years.”
Technical director Carlos Aalbers added: “Bram has developed greatly in recent years.
“It’s a good signal to our players, the coaching staff and the supporters that a young talent has committed for a longer period.
“Bram’s contract extension fits into our vision to invest in players who can and will develop even further.”
