Roeder told the Evening Chronicle: “Nicky Butt’s ears will have pricked up when he heard the draw, and he will be centre of attention when we go to St Andrews next month.
“But I have to say that I am happy he will be playing for us and not Birmingham.
“In fact, I would say that he is currently playing better than at any time since he left Old Trafford.”
