Clark said: “Andy Carroll is still just 17, but at reserve-team level he is experienced because of the amount of games he’s been involved in this year as well as first-team experience.
“It’s all good development for him, but he isn’t the only one.
“Kazenga LuaLua and Ryan Donaldson have also been involved in plenty of reserve-team football this term.
“There are quite a few schoolboys and first-year professionals who have been involved too.”
