Oceania’s member of the committee, Reynald Temarii, was suspended this month following an investigation into corruption by the Sunday Times which found him open to bribery.
Oceania hopes David Chung will be allowed to vote, with the current number of voters at 22. It could make a huge difference to a finely poised battle, particularly for England, who it has been speculated Chung would cast his vote for.
