Mitchell says he could loan out Mile Sterjovski, Chris Coyne and Jacob Burns to Adelaide for their Asian Champions League campaign next year.
“The big picture is the most important thing and that’s helping out the national team,” Mitchell said.
“The national team – it feeds World Cups, it feeds the A-League and it feeds everything else.
“Why would I be so selfish and tell our players ‘no you can’t play for them’?
“This would help Adelaide in the Asian Champions League and it’s going to help the (Glory) players and the Socceroos.
“It’s a win, win, win. Why would I be so selfish?”
