Rangers chief hopeful of new Miller deal

Miller’s contract with Rangers is set to expire at the end of the season and the striker has already rejected two offers from the Scottish giants.

“Kenny Miller is a player who we want to stay at the football club first and foremost,” Bain told shareholders at Rangers’ annual meeting.

“I’m hopeful that we can come to some sort of agreement with Kenny.”

Bain continued: “His representatives had some discussions with me some weeks ago, I made them an offer and they didn’t like the offer I made.

“I made them a second offer and they didn’t like that one either. I’m going through a process of discussion with them.

“Kenny is a good boy, a sensible lad, and his representatives are also good to deal with as well.

“I know Walter is keen that I do something because the player is on fire at the moment.”
