The new deal will keep the Germany Under-21 ace at the club until the summer of 2015.
The 21-year-old told the club’s official website: “Borussia Moenchengladbach are a great team and I’m feeling very well here.
“I never even hesitated when the club told me that they wanted me to sign a contract extension.”
