Samuel has been struggling with injuries this season.
“Everyone wants to play regularly,” Samuel told Argentine paper ‘Ole’.
“I have made my return recently and I will try to remain a first choice for as long as possible.
“The Champions League? I spoke to Mourinho before and there was no problem with this. I was injured at the time but if God wants then I will fight for my place.
“Luckily I have only just renewed my deal and I want to stay here for many years. Myself and my family are very happy here.”
