Chivas USA clinched a spot in the MLS Playoffs for the third consecutive year, after beating San Jose.
Yallop said: “Obviously the result was not there for us tonight and I am disappointed that we didn’t win at home again.
“I can’t fault the guys for their effort, especially in the second half when they are trying to get back into the game.
“It’s one of those games that you seem not to be able to put the final shot on target that would have made a difference in the game.”
