Germany boss Joachim Loew has included youngster such as Mario Goetze, Andre Schuerrle and Lewis Holtby in the squad for the friendly.
Schweinsteiger admits he is looking forward to play alongside the youngsters.
“We will do everything to beat Sweden, even if it’s with a new team and lots of young faces. These kids have earned their selection, I cannot wait to play with them,” Schweinsteiger said during a press conference.
“It’s not our third place finish in South Africa which gave us the most pleasure, but the enthusiasm it generated in Germany and the feeling of being supported by an entire country.
“I’m feeling very well at the moment. I’ve spoken about my physical condition with the coach and I’ve told him that I’m ready to play against the Swedes.”
