Siena striker wants Palermo move

The 30-year-old has previously admitted he would be ready to leave Siena, if the club were relegated.

“I don’t know a lot about this. [Palermo president Maurizio] Zamparini said that I had given the green light for this to happen,” he told Palermo24.net.

“Currently, I am on holidays overseas, and the matter will have to wait until I return.

“Palermo are a great side with a great city and a strong supporter base. I would like to join the club, but we are talking about a big side.

“But honestly, I do not know anything at the moment. I am hoping to find something out over the coming days, when I come back from holidays.”
