Poland lost 1-0 to the Czech Republic, which saw the Euro 2012 co-hosts end last in Group A.
Smuda’s contract was set to expire at the end of Euro 2012.
“This is 100% the end of the road. My contract runs out at the end of Euro 2012. Thanks guys,” Smuda told Poland’s public TVP broadcaster.
