“We were missing that extra touch to make a real difference to the scoreboard,” he told reporters.
“The first half was very difficult for us and we needed to show more maturity, but in the second half things opened up and we found space and were able to use our speed.
“We could have then scored more goals, but in the final third we were just lacking that slice of luck you need.
“The opposition were strong and we will learn lessons from this.”
