Staunton said: “We are disappointed not to have three points tonight,” said Staunton after the 1-1 draw at Lansdowne Road.
“I think our chances and all-round display deserved the win. I have to say the lads were magnificent and the crowd really got behind us.
“It has been a long hard week and I am not giving up in the group yet.”
