Terry wants to ease pressure on McClaren

England will face Estonia in a Euro 2008 qualifier on Wednesday.

Terry said: “It is vital we pick up the three points. We can’t go there and get anything else.

“Is there pressure on Steve? I don’t sense that. He has been very relaxed, training has been good and sharp, and what the manager demands, he gets.

“We are fully behind the manager and we are going to do our best to keep him in his job.

“Will there be a question mark over him if England lose? Possibly. But we are not thinking like that. We are thinking positively. We need to go there and get a win. It is as simple as that.

“We need to go there and perform. The Brazil game is a chance for us to get our sharpness back and make sure we are ready for the game on Wednesday.”
