Vidal set to sign new Juventus deal

The 26-year-old is expected to sign a two-year extension to his current contract, which expires in 2016.

The new deal will see the former Bayer Leverkusen star earn around €5million a year.

“Vidal arrived in Turin and the move was met with some scepticism, but he has done very well and now he should be rewarded,” Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta told Tuttosport.

“There have been big clubs in Europe interested in him but in the coming weeks, his contract will be prolonged and economically adequate.”
