Wales boss pleased with Euro 2012 draw

Wales were put in Group G alongside England, Montenegro, Switzerland and Bulgaria.

“The group itself, I don’t mind the five instead of six. Montenegro are the fifth side in theory but they are a tough side,” Toshack told Sky Sports News.

“Bulgaria we have played recently twice and Switzerland is an attractive one for us and then the game everyone will want to see is England.

“We have a very good young side and they are progressing nicely and I like the group, we will have a go.

“Our Under-21s had some super matches with them [England] and they are now in the main team, so I am sure they will be well motivated for those.

“We didn’t want Germany or Russia as we have played them a few times.”
