“Of course it is disappointing not to be selected for the Norway game,” he said.
“I have made myself available and he has not picked me. I can’t really say more than that. I never expect anything in football.
“I’ve obviously not been first choice since he became manager so it wasn’t a big surprise to me. I’ve just got to play as well as I can for Rangers and see what happens from there.
“It’s not my decision whether I win any more Scotland caps but I will still be available. I want to play in every game and that’s not changed.
“But I’ve not been picked this time. The manager gets paid to make these decisions and has to live or die by them.”
