The 28-year-old is reportedly ready to leave Xerez if they fail to beat the drop.
“I have a firm and interesting offer from Racing,” he said in Marca.
“But nothing has been signed as yet.
“It is possible that I will join Racing, but there are three or more other clubs in the frame.”
