The 25-year-old is on loan from Zamalek until the summer and reports claim the Egyptian side is demanding £11.2million for a permanent deal.
“Zamalek slapped a hefty price tag on me,” Zaki said on FilGoal.
“I don’t know yet where I will play next season but, honestly, I can’t return to the Egyptian league.
“Why would I leave the strongest league competition in the world?”
