The Dutch midfielder’s contract ends with the German champions at the season’s end, and he has been rumoured to be interested in a short term move until the end of the season.
The player’s agent, Mino Raiola, said: “It’s true that this week I will be in Milan but to discuss other matters. I have had no contact with Milan. I have not yet spoken to Van Bommel either and it’s too early to discuss an eventual contract renewal.
