Brazil struggled to get a goal against a well-organised and disciplined Dutch side.
“We did not fulfil our objective because we wanted to win. Our team deserved it for what we did in the second-half but we squandered a lot of chances,” he told ESPN Brazil.
Chelsea midfielder Ramires was sent off for Brazil in the second-half. The Brazil fans were not impressed by their team’s performance in the game.
“Of course, nobody wanted to hear the booing,” he said. “We could have scored a goal but we could not take our chances.
“We were a man short but I do not know if it was deserved or not – that is only down to the referee.”
