The 35-year-old is currently behind Asmir Begovic in the pecking order and is mulling over the club’s offer.
“Stoke have given me a contract offer. It is something I have to consider,” Sorensen told The Sentinel.
“If we have a long run in the Europa League and the FA Cup in the spring, there will be many games for me.
“But you can’t be sure of that – and towards the European Championships, of course, I would like to play some games.”
