Chelsea boss pleased with win over Wolves

Goals from John Terry, Daniel Sturridge and Juan Mata secured a 3-0 victory to the Blues over Wolves at Stamford Bridge.

Villas-Boas said: “We’re not going to fill ourselves with arrogance. We just have to wait and see. Today we continued being exactly the same team, but getting the result we wanted.

“We have the game against Newcastle soon and then the game against the leaders to show that we are a quality side.

“Let’s wait and see, today was important but we have to get the consistency right.

“December will be very important, we have one Champions League game but the rest will be Premier League fixtures.

“It doesn’t take pressure off me, I think we have to grow as a team.”

Fernando Torres started the clash with Wolves on the bench, but was introduced in the second half.

“I wanted to make the correct substitutions for the benefit of the team,” he added.

“I think Didier [Drogba] was tired after three games in six days, I understand the crowd wanted Fernando to be on, I have no problem with it, but our decision is not based on what the crowd wants.”
