Ivory Coast international Bonaventure Kalou claims French side Arles-Avignon are keen on signing him.
The 32-year-old is available on a free transfer afer being released by Heerenveen earlier this summer.
“Arles-Avignon have contacted me,” he told France Football.
“It is rather informal at the moment, rather than something official. There has been contact, but nothing has been signed.
“I should be back in France on Saturday and I will go to meet with Arles officials and see what they have to say.
“I am still only 32 years old and I believe I could play for another three seasons.
“I am looking for a club and they are looking for experienced players.
“I am very motivated by the challenge. I have lost almost two years of football.
“My objective now is to find a suitable club and to start having fun again. Arles-Avignon could allow me to find that.”
