The 22-year-old has become the fourth new signing for Banfield so far this summer.
“I am very happy to have arrived at Banfield, when this chance came up I accepted straight away because I know this is a big club,” Mendez told the press.
“I hope I can do everything well, I have a lot of faith in myself and hopefully we can continue the stay at the front that the club has ensured after recent strong campaigns. An interesting double title challenge approaches here, playing in the Copa Sudamericana as well as locally, we hope to play a big part in both.”
