Beasley ready for England

USA were drawn against England, Slovenia and Algeria in Group C next summer.

“It’s going to be a great game,” Beasley told Sky Sports News. “We have a lot of players in England and we know them well.

“I think they’re obviously, on paper, the toughest game. England are a great side with a lot of great players, but we have a good squad of players that are very experienced with the US team.

“We think we have a good chance against England.

“When you get to the World Cup every team is good, they wouldn’t be there if they didn’t qualify for the World Cup and we proved that in 2002.

“We will take one game at a time, the first game is England and we’ll put everything forward and try to get the points.

“We’re a very confident side and we have a lot of players that will go to the World Cup with a lot of confidence in their game.”
