Berlusconi never considered selling Milan

Reports in recent weeks have suggested that the Prime Minister of Italy was set to sell the club after 22 years at the owner.

“Selling Milan? No, we never even considered it,” said Berlusconi during a political meeting in Sofia.

“This club is about affection, not economics.”

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani said: “Nobody has ever talked about Milan being put up for sale, it was invented by the media. I can confirm that officially on behalf of the club.”
