Brunt has told the chiefs at Hillsborough that he wants to quit the club.
Wednesday chief executive Kaven Walker said: “We’ve always said if a club matches our valuation of Chris, we would not stand in his way.
“West Brom offered what we’re looking for — everybody has their price.
“Chris made it crystal clear he does not want to be here.”
