Deportivo went through to the group stage of the Uefa Cup after the penalty shoot-out win.
“Penalties are a question of luck, I do not consider myself a specialist,” he started, “It is more a failure of the forward than a success for the keeper although to stop a penalty seems better than scoring one and I hope to save many more.”
“We always think positively before the games but to score twice, and to help the team win, was what I would have dreamt of. For me it is an important step that opens new doors,” he explained.
