Matsui has impressed Deportivo La Coruna with his performances for Japan at the 2010 World Cup, according to Marca.
Deportivo La Coruna are looking to bring in a creative midfielder this summer and Matsui are among their main targets.
The 29-year-old has reportedly already recieved offers from six different clubs.
