The 27-year-old has only made 29 appearances for Chelsea since joining the club in 2009 and could be interested in a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Dynamo executive director Roman Dyakov refused to confirm or deny reports linking them with a move for Zhirkov.
“Dynamo won’t comment on any transfer issues until July 15, when the team returns from its training camps to Moscow,” Dyakov told Sovetsky Sport.
