Eaton fears clubs are being bought to fix games

Eaton is in charge of tackling match fixing, and he spoke of the new methods being used to manipulate games.

“We’re seeing a trend for the purchase of low-level clubs and the movement of players and the trafficking of players,” he told Reuters in an exclusive interview.

“There is a significant trend in the trafficking of players, moving them into other leagues with a mentor, normally a player who comes from the same country or region, has a great deal of respect, is more than likely corrupted, who is able to influence these players.
