Lord Triesman, the former chief of the England 2018 World Cup bid, made allegations against several members of FIFA, claiming they asked for bribes in the buildup to the vote.
Hugh Robertson, Britain’s Sports Minister, said: “I would like to see really concerted pressure from international bodies to get them to reform.
“We’re pretty wound up about it, the Dutch [and] the Australians are pretty wound up and there are a number of others.”
