Feyenoord are keen for the 31-year-old striker to return to Rotterdam this summer. Kuyt joined Liverpool from Feyenoord in the summer of 2006.
Kuyt will be made Feyenoord’s highest-paid star in the club’s history if he agrees to join the club in the summer.
A top Dutch source told The Sun: “Feyenoord have made Kuyt a great offer to come home.
“He is still a hero in Rotterdam and they’d love him back.
“But because he’s 31 now, Feyenoord have made it clear it would have to be next season or never.”
