“I can’t confirm whether I’m staying or leaving. I think it’s a matter of time and only time will tell what will happen. My future is a little bit uncertain,” Gudjohnsen said.
“For the moment I’m a Barcelona player but we all know in football that everything can change very quickly.
“I’m only thinking about getting myself fit for the new season, whether that be with Barcelona or another club. We will see.
“I look back at my time (in England) with great memories. It was a wonderful time but whether I will return to England is not so sure. I think we can only see what the future holds.”
Gudjohnson moved to Barcelona 3 years ago but with the emergence of the front 3: Messi, Henry and Eto’o he has found his chances limited.
