“Through May, June and July there were a number of names being touted around that were going to take the job on, there is only me here, there is only me who stayed here,” Hart stated.
“There is only me that’s gone through the rubbish in the summer. I’m still here I’m still backing the club, I’m still the one taking all the stuff from people like yourself.
“No one wanted it at that point. It was there, it was up for offer. I have had so many names thrown at me they could all have had it and they didn’t, but I did.
“You can call me I’m an idiot, I have been called that before, but I’m me and I’m standing up and I believe in the players here and I think we turn it round.
“It’s a results-based business so I’m vulnerable in that respect but in terms with what I do on the pitch and the way the players respond I don’t have a problem.”
