Anzhi are hopeful of bringing in Hiddink, who left his job as Turkey national team coach last week.
“I am taking my time before I make a decision,” Hiddink told RT.
“My Russian contacts have informed me about Anzhi. It’s a very prestigious project they have going on. I’m interested in it because it’s about much more than football.
“The project is also quite beneficial to the area, where the people are living in poverty. It’s a great thing when you can do something for the community other than football.”
