He told The Sun: “It’s important for the continuity of the club that Jose stays.
“What we’ve done here in the past three years is a huge achievement and you cannot hide from that.
“Chelsea hadn’t won the league for 50 years before Jose and then we won it twice on the spin. We’ve won two cups, gone a long way in others and played great football.
“That’s a result of work done from the top to the bottom of the club. And we’ve got to make sure it continues in the same way.”
