The Trotters visit Stamford Bridge on Wednesday in the Carling Cup and the two will meet in the Premier League at the Reebok Stadium just three days later.
“We have finally grabbed the first win at home,” he told the Korean Times.
“Our fans have been disappointed, but they sent enthusiastic cheers. I really appreciated it.
“It is a strong team (Chelsea) and the game will be very tough. But if players unite like (on Sunday), we are pretty competitive with any other team.
“When we win against strong teams, it produces a good effect on the team. I will concentrate to help us win.”
