Zarate has been a hit at Lazio, since joining the club in 2008, following a spell on loan with Birmingham.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are all reportedly interested in signing the 22-year-old.
“Mauro thoroughly enjoyed his time at Birmingham and he loves the Premier League,” Zarate’s
British representative Barry McIntosh told skysports.com.
“We know the interest in him is big, I cannot say who, but there are some big clubs who would like Mauro.”
