McCormack could be on the move

After a fantastic debut season for Cardiff in 2008 when he netted 23 times he has found his time in Wales disrupted by injuries and is eying a fresh start.

“I have spoken to Ipswich chief executive Simon Clegg about Ross and we are now waiting for Ipswich to make a formal offer to Cardiff,” his agent Willie McKay told skysports.com.

“Once that happens and an offer is accepted we will discuss personal terms with Ipswich.

“However, there are a four or five others clubs also chasing Ross and we will see what offers come in for him.”
