Inter won 2-1 over rivals AC Milan on Sunday, following a controversial goal by Adriano, which put Inter ahead.
“I’m not sure about Adriano’s goal,” Moratti admitted to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“There could have been a handball, but we played with such determination that I think we would have triumphed anyway.
“In the past the derby ended 4-3, but I think yesterday’s game should have been 7-0 to us.
“We should have won by more, but the most important thing was that we got the result and did so by showing strength and determination.
“The decision to field Adriano was a gamble for us all. I think Jose Mourinho has done everything needed to bring him back to his best and I’m happy about that.”
