The Spanish World Cup winner had been linked with the Premier League champions however Chelsea Sporting Director Frank Arnesen has denied that any such offer has been made.
“It is absolutely false,” confirmed Arnesen. ”We haven’t made any bid for Ramos.
“What did surprise us is that a person called us on behalf of the player to see if we were interested in signing him.”
