Scudamore said: “We would like a different team to win it each year — we would like a team to come from nowhere and win it.
“I’m sure the amount of money going in to teams like Manchester City, Newcastle and Aston Villa will make the league more competitive.
“These people are buying these clubs to be successful and you can see it happening that another club will come through and win like Blackburn did.”
