Storrie quits Portsmouth job

Pompey administrator Andre Andronikou has confirmed Storrie’s resignation and said the former chief executive will stay on in a consultancy role.

“After talks with his family and friends, Peter Storrie decided it is in the best interests of the club for him to leave his full-time employment,” read a statement released on the club’s official website.

“The administrators would like to thank Mr Storrie for his undivided assistance and support over the past few weeks.

“Mr Storrie has pledged to continue to assist the club and the administrators on a range of matters, including the sale of the club, the FA Cup semi-final arrangements and other projects and will be remunerated accordingly.”
