Stromsgodset have previously announced that due to their financial situation they are unable to sign any new players.
“I can confirm that we have a question, but there are not anything concrete,” Viking sports director Egil Ostenstad told Stavanger Aftenblad.
Gaarde is also aware that Stromsgodset are interested in signing him.
“I am aware of the interest from Stromsgodset. It is flattering, but I have informed them that a holiday the next weeks, so after that we shall se what will happen,” said Gaarde.
