Sunderland chairman Quinn: I want to make Keano happy

Quinn said: “Until the fixtures come out you don’t get that excited.

“But today the office is buzzing, from the tea ladies right through to myself, we’re all looking at the fixtures.

“The Spurs one is very glamorous. They are a great team and it’s a game that will really make us feel we’re back in the Premier League.

“Everyone knows we’d like to get off to a good start. With the run after Christmas last season, we’d love to carry on and keep that winning feeling.

“My hope is that by the start of the season, Roy will be very happy and we’ve managed to sign the players he wants.”
