Tevez affair could cost West Ham £50m

Sheffield United originally wanted £30million in compensation for damages due to the Carlos Tevez affair.

A hearing, that will set the amount, was set to take place on Friday but has now been delayed until February due to a request by the Hammers.

News of the World says the Blades now want £50million after being advised that their relegation will cost them a lot more than the £30million they originally demanded.
