Stokholm told vikingfk.no: “It is good to get a clarification on my future.
“As negotiations between me and Viking broke down, my wish was to return home to Denmark.”
He added: “My focus is now on Viking, and to end the season in the best possible way.”
Stokholm joined Viking in the summer of 2006.
